The pitting spoon (sometimes called a stone removing spoon), saves lots of time when removing pits from peaches, plums, or scraping seeds from melons or squash. It'll take the "choke" out of artichokes and will scoop out orange peels. You'll notice less fruit left on the pits, and it's safer than using a knife. Great for home canning, restaurants, as well as canned or frozen foods. Stainless steel with sanitary round non-slip polypropylene handle. Total length, 6 1/2", handle is 3 7/8". Blue handle. Hand wash only.

The handle is blue because that's the only color not found on fruits or vegetables, making this tool easy to spot when you're slicing and prepping!

My husband's mother had used one of these many years ago. We finally found one on the Kitchen Krafts website and ordered it immediately. It is very useful when working with strawberries, tomatoes, etc. We have found this item to be very good quality.

I purchased the pit spoon to help with my peaches, but also used to remove the seeds and ribs of my jalapeno and other hot peppers. My hands did not sting and the peppers are perfectly clean!
