Create the perfect cake for a BIG surprise. This pan is fun, fun, fun - the only pan of its kind! Just like the name implies, when you "break" into a Pinata Cake - there is a surprise! This cake is baked hollow so you can fill the center with your favorite treats - candy, nuts, fruit or a special gift! Then when you cut it open - all the delicious treats fall out. Perfect for birthdays, baby shower "reveals" and everything in-between - the options are endless. Aluminum pan comes with a special insert to form the hollow middle. You just bake 2 cakes, fill the center and "glue" them together with frosting. Then decorate! Finished cake is 8-1/2" diameter. Special recipe and instructions included on packaging or use with 2 standard cake mixes. Nordic Ware®. 10 year warranty, 5 cup liquid capacity.

*Kitchen Krafts recommends this cake pan because you will use it often for birthdays and parties. Create animals, sports balls, faces and more! Clear instructions make this hollow cake easy to create - even for the novice cake decorator.
Cake pan has level base for even cooking - forms 8-1/2" diameter ball-shaped cake.

How to create a Pinata Cake...
1. Bake 2 cakes
2. Frost the edges of both halves
3. Fill one half with treats
4. Put the second half on top of the filled half
5. Frost entire cake and decorate
6. Cut open and let the goodness spill out!
SURPRISE!

What a treat this was for so many. Caution, though, when you're frosting this cake start at the bottom and work up. If you do as I did, the weight of the M&Ms and the frosting will cause the lower cake to split apart. So you need the support of the frosting on the bottom before you frost the top. Also, I believe I will only make one half of the cake with the "cavity", thus adding to the strength of the rest of the cake. Everyone loved it, though! And I'm on board to making two more of these cakes in the next few weeks
