Fresh Strawberry Pie

Who can resist the look and taste of Fresh Strawberry Pie. Not me - I doubt anyone will pass up this pie!

No-Roll Pie Crust:
  • 1/2 cup cooking oil
  • 2 Tbsp. milk
  • 1-1/2 cup flour
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • Dash of salt
Mix ingredients and pat into a 10" pie plate. Bake crust at 350° for about 15 minutes.
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 Tbsp. strawberry gelatin
  • 1 quart sliced strawberries

Cook sugar, water and cornstarch together until thick; remove from heat and stir in gelatin. Cool. Slice 1-quart of strawberries and line the cooled pie crust. Pour the cooled filling over the berries. Refrigerate. Serve with whipped cream or non-dairy whipped creamer.
