This unique yogurt maker uses no energy to incubate your yogurt. It maintains uniform temperature, and consists of an inner container to hold yogurt, insulated inner liner and a light weight ABS shell, plus insulated lid. This design avoids hot or cool spots and makes the Yogotherm light and easy to clean. Use to incubate other lactic products such as fromage blanc, keifer, buttermilk, and cheese starter cultures. Holds up to 2 liter capacity.
Awesome!

I've been making yogurt for awhile now, but I've always used a cooler with hot water in it, or the oven with hot water.....those worked, but it was always such a hassle and the yogurt came out less thick than I wanted. So, I went on the search for a yogurt maker. I decided to go with the yogotherm, I liked that it didn't use electricity, and the electric ones seemed to have issues with cold spots, and you can make so much more with it (buttermilk, sour cream, etc). I made my first batch and WHOA! Such a difference! It really is amazing! I can't wait to try more yogurt batches and culture other things! The only things I don't like about it is the long shipping time and the cost. I have no idea why it costs so much. If it lasts a long time, then the cost will be worth it, but the plastic does feel kind of cheap. I don't know that it would survive a fall off the counter. But, it does make it some great yogurt!
