Perfect for smoothing the base and sides of your fondant covered cakes. For the base of your cake, use this right angled 7-1/4" x 3" side smoother by running your smoother around the base of your cake with the straight edge resting on cake board. This produces a very straight edge and smooth finish where the cake meets the board. Use the side smoother along with the flat smoother for finishing the sides of the cake to remove dips or creases.
