Have you had another year of frustration pitting cherries? Be prepared next year with this easy-to-use number one selling pitter. So quick and easy - you will wonder why you bothered with other pitters. The push button cherry pitter is uniquely designed to fit on top of a screw-top glass jar (which serves as the base and becomes the pit collector). Now your hands are free to handle the cherries and the plunger. A soft rubber strip located on the base of the plunger centers and protects the cherry as the plunger removes the pit, keeping the cherry round and firm. And by using a larger canning jar for collection - you won't have to keep stopping to empty the pits.

"So glad to see this pitter is available again. This marvelous piece of equipment has been absent for many years - recently only found in antique stores! You can just motor through bowls of cherries. Take a cherry from a bowl on your right, place the cherry under the plunger, plunge away, place the beautifully pitted cherry in the bowl on your left. And you are ready to start over - takes about 3 seconds! Once your jar is full of pits, you can drain the juice in with the pits into your bowl. I then freeze the cherries in ziploc bags to make jam when I want to."
