Add pickle crunch to each jar of your pickles or pickled veggies for crispier results! It helps reduce the softening of fresh cucumbers during processing and keeps cherries or olives firm. Food grade calcium chloride. Use approximately 1-1/2 tsp per quart.
Directions: Add Pickle Crunch granules to cool water and mix until dissolved. (Do NOT add water to granules.) Soak cucumbers in solution for 12-24 hrs. before pickling to firm pickles. Alternately for fresh pack pickles, add 1-1/2 tsp. per quart jar prior to processing.

Usage: 1 level teaspoon of granules per quart of water to make a 0.5% solution.
