Meringue powder is a pasteurized egg product used for royal icings, boiled icings, buttercream icing and meringue shells. Contains: Sugar, starch, egg white and vegetable gums. Royal icing is used to make edible flowers and decorations that can last for months without softening if stored properly.
Egg White Substitute This can be used as an egg white substitute in baking. 2 teaspoons of meringue powder plus 2 Tablespoons water equal 1 egg white.

I used the meringue powder and followed the directions and almost burned the motor out of my mixer trying to get it stiff but the meringue just ran all over the top of the pie.

Have used this product for many years and my husband and I have made pavlovas and cookies along with meringue for pies. We have never been disappointed.

I have tried many different types of Meringue powder and this is the only one that gives me fabulous results every time when I make my icing for wedding cakes.
Ingredients: Egg whites, tapioca starch, dextrose, tapioca dextrin, Contains 2% or less of the following: tartaic acid, sodium aluminum sulfate, cream of tartar, artifical flavor.
