This is the greatest invention! It totally cleans the sides of your bowl and you never have to scrape the sides of the bowl! My daughter has it also and loves it too!

Does exactly as the product describes. No more stopping to scrape down the sides of the bowl. Makes a slight squeaking noise that I can live with. Maybe because it's new.

"I only use this for cookie dough, cakes etc.. NEVER would I use this for my frosting for cakes...It just doesn't make it fluffy like the regular paddle that comes with the Kitchen Aide mixer.... IF I were to do this again, I wouldn't buy this..."

I usually wash it by hand, not to protect it, but because I usually need it again before I run a dish load ! I didn't really like my KA because I had to CONSTANTLY scrape down the sides..... NO MORE...the Beater Blade does it for me !"

"I bought this because I do a great deal of baking. Previous reviews about it allieviating the need for scraping seemed a plus. It does take care of the bottom, however, the sides aren't as well scraped as I'd like. A bit expensive for a non-metal attachment as well."

"I love the beater blade. I hated having to stop , lift the head and scrape the bowl. This eliminates all of that. My husband was amazed too. It washes well by hand or in the dishwasher. I was a bit surprised that it wasn't metal though. Now I wish I had a wisk attachment that does the same thing. Great product. I tell everyone about it including my Wilton instructor. She hadn't heard of it, but she was going to check it out too."
