This little machine is a baker's best friend.You can use a Cake mix, muffin mix, Pancake Mix or completely from scratch recipes. I just monitor the amout of liquid into the batter, so that it's not too liquidy. From start to finish in less than 20 minutes. I mixed a 1 box of Duncan Hines "Simple Mornings: triple Chocolate Muffin Mix. Made exactly per the instructions, Plugged in the Babycake Cake Pop maker to heat. I pour the batter into a Ateco 18# flex pastry bag SKU: CD0018 while it rests in the Thermohauser Pastry Bag Support SKU: CD4013. It's Easy Breezy from there. I open the Babycakes Maker, and pipe the batter just to the top of each well, close and make sure the lid latches shut and quick set the timer for 4 minutes, per batch. (1 mix made about 50 babycakes). Done... then your imagination can start. I like to dust the cakes while warm with powdered sugar. The chocolate ones I use a mix of cocoa and powdered sugar. these are a great way to make a basket of grab and go bites for breakfast and my weekend company thought i went out of my way to bake for them. No one needs to know how easy this is to do. Best Cooking gadget I have gotten in a long time. I am thinking this will be a great apartment warming gift for my neice to help start her off with such a versatile treat maker.
