Only All American pressure canners feature the precision machined Metal-to-Metal sealing system. Easy to open and close and no gasket to wear out. Positive action clamping locks align the cover to the base forming a tight seal. Two automatic venting features provide safety - safety control valve and over pressure plug. Control weight provides simple, accurate pressure control for 5, 10 and 15 psi. Pressure gauge allows accurate, visual verification of processing. Heavy-duty cast aluminum for fast and even heating, with improved stay-cool handle. For non-commercial, home use only. Comes with 1 rack. Instruction and recipe book included. Capacity and dimensions of each model described below. Made in USA.

*Note: Please check to ensure you have sufficient space above your stove before ordering. (Canner is not recommended for glass or ceramic top stoves - it does not have a flat bottom.)

I like the pressure canner very much. No rubber gasket, which is nice. I only wish I would have ordered a little bit bigger to be able to stack two half pint jars at once. I was canning Tuna and that takes a while one batch at a time.
