Diamond studs have a round shallow body that reflects light better than sugar diamonds, giving you more shine when embedding in icing or fondant. They don't need to be "placed" but can be sprinkled freely on cakes and cupcakes. Completely edible, they make your cakes, cupcakes and cookies sparkle. Diamond studs are 4 mm (approx. 5/32" dia.). Made with isomalt, a sugar-free sweetener made from sucrose. Purple, 65/pkg.

Sugar diamonds may be affected by humidity creating a cloudy or misty appearance. If this occurs, spray them with a light coating of an oil based baking spray to help restore their shine.
