I have several of the novelty bundt pans and have not had trouble releasing cakes from them. However, the holiday trees pan is a different story. Because the tops of the trees are points, the cake is very narrow and cooks faster than the rest of the cake. Whenever I try to flip it to remove it from the pan, the top half of each tree rips apart from the rest of the cake, leaving topless trees. Removing the points by hand is tricky, resulting in some mangled tops. I've tried the Wilton brush on Cake Release, which has never given me a problem, but this pan is different.

I have the Christmas Tree Pan and I have used it for two years - so far I have not had a problem with the top breaking or anything - I always let it cool for 10 minutes before turning over to remove from the pan.
