Lovely and functional

These are not only pretty to look at, they are also just as functional as any other bands and lids, in my experience. I've used them for both water bath and pressure canning, as well as Food Saver applications. No troubles, and great-looking on my kitchen shelves!

they do not seal to jar

Can not tighten them down against the jar. It is like the threads on the screw top part is not machined well so the contents of the jar run out when making jelly. I do not think they are well made at all! I will not buy them again even though they are pretty.
