About 7 years ago a friend bought me 4 cases of these on a close out at a local hardware store. She really got a steal. I like them for trying out new flavors of jam. I like to invent my own concoctions. I also give full cases as gifts, perfect for small families---no waste.

I loved these jars! My mom and I used plums and grapes from my grandpa's farm to make jelly for my wedding favors.
Everyone loved them and the size was perfect!

great gift size

I have used this size every year for jelly and jams. It is the perfect size for gift giving and the lids are perfectly decorated to add a little something. The size is also great for just me and my husband. this way we don't have to open a largeer jar and have it sit opened in the fridge for a long time until it is used up.
