I LOVE baking the little cakes but would like a recipe for a clear glaze so the pretty designs show.
I baked them as little chocolate cakes. Inserted a wooden handle into the bottom and filled them with white frosting. Very fun and very cute..

Judi,
I filled the wells with batter in a pastry bag and cut a small hole to just over 1/2 full. The best detail is on top looking down, so if a few are a little shorter it won't matter. Also, grease very lightly. The directions aren't kidding about that. The cakes are really, really cute.

I made cakes in these pans and had no problems getting them to come out the only problem I had was overfilling the sections. Does any one have a way to do this and not over fill them? Thanks

I tried making chocolate truffels and was unable to get the candies to release from the pan. I had no trouble with baked batters releasing. I would recommend nordic ware to everyone. One gets what one pays for!
