Great for Caramels

I bought one of these last year, then put it away and forgot I had it until I'd already cut 2 half sheet pans of caramel using (and dulling) my chef's knife. Used it last night on a new pan and it cut 20 minutes off the time it took to cut and wrap a half-sheet pan of candy (from 2 hours to 1 hour and 40 minutes) Plus my hand didn't hurt afterward, as it does when I use the knife.

Great for Caramels

One night I used a chefs knife to cut and wrap a half-sheet pan of caramels. The next night I used this cutter. Total time involved went from 2 hours to 1 hour and 40 minutes. AND no hand cramps afterward.

While I never thought of it as a caramel slicer, I suppose it could work. However this is a fantastic pizza cutter! Best ever. Comes completely apart for easy cleaning. A bit tricky to learn to put it back together properly, but easy enough if you look for the arrows on the inside. Also this brand makes an AWESOME ice cream scoop!
