Hard to get used to but worth the money
Reviewed By: EzyBreeze (Friendswood, Yexas)
I bought this sifter with the store credit from returning the squeeze-trigger version Wal-Mart carries, barely able to even carry it into the store after sifting 20 pounds of powdered sugar. At first I didn't like it. When you fill up the top with powdered sugar and start cranking, powdered sugar starts flying everywhere. *Design Note- It needs a lid! I finally found a cover- I use a collapsable large measuring cup. It has a handle and is made of rubber and works well as a rest for the sifter once you remove the container so you make less mess when you empty the container. As soon as I covered it, I figured out I could love it. I could crank faster and not worry about where it was going either direction. I love the plastic container for collecting the sifted powder! The only thing it needs is a better grip area or some kind of handle since its diameter is slightly larger than the grip of my hand and it is made of clear acryllic and gets hard to grip with powder on your hands. Overall, this is the best sifter I have found so far.
