I find it does a good of job scraping the bottom of the bowl, but not as well of the sides in my lift bowl machine. Further, I wouldn't trust it for a heavy dough like cookies- it's plastic and I doubt it could handle the stress.  -  Monday, December 07, 2009 Helpful Blade Reviewed By: Constance Hunt (Wapato, WA) Blade reduces need to scrape down bowl sides. One note of caution: don't use on heavy batters or blade will snap off just above paddle. I speak from experience.
