Pie Lifter, Bake-In
Remove that difficult first slice of pie neatly and easily. Simply place this clever lifter into the pan bottom before placing the bottom crust dough…after baking the finished pie, slice along both edges of the lifter and lift. Fits standard 9" diameter pie tins. Stainless steel.

Bought one of these, although I am not sure it was the same brand. Washed it in the dishwasher with Cascade before using and when it came out, it was tarnished and covered with black soot-like stuff. Washed it again, more soot, and threw it away. Great idea; lousy execution.
