Try this trick if you like garlic. Place a garlic clove in the microwave for 15 seconds (time varies with power of unit), remove, and give the clove a squeeze -- the meat will pop free of the skin. Run the clove over the Microplane and the finely cut pieces of gralic release far more flavor than cutting with a knife. Great tool.
