Super handy gadget

This is one of those gadgets that makes you say to yourself- "now why didn't I think of that?" If you use any fresh herbs, this is so much easier than trying to chop them on a board. You just julienne the leaves right off the stalk, even rosemary, which I have a hard time with. The only thing to remember is that you will want to DRY off the herb leaves becuase if they're wet, they can stick to the blades.

It chops my chives from the pot on my deck evenly (terrific baked potato garnish). I've also found it slices up my mailing labels before they go into the recycling!! Better than a shredder and no batteries.

Here in Texas we make salsa and there is nothing better for cutting the herbs than these scissors! They are well made, sharp and have come in so handy that I have given a set as a wedding gift and a house warming gift. Each time they were the talk of the party. GREAT IDEA!
