Eliminate underdone centers in your larger cakes. Large-size cakes (12” diameter and larger) need extra heat to bake evenly. This heating core is 4” high x 4” wide at the base and distributes the heat to the middle. Place in center of cake (add some batter to inside of cone) and simply remove the core from the cake once baked. Replace the cake from inside the core into the rest of the cake and frost. Heavy gauge, commercial quality, aluminum.
