Handy Canning Tools
Both beginner and “well seasoned”
canners may want to consider a few handy tools for this canning season.
Stainless Steel
Canning Rack (FP0026) - It seems like every couple of years you have to
replace a canning rack, especially if you do a lot of water bath canning. This
stainless steel canning rack is the last rack you will ever purchase! It won't
rust! With extra steel rings on a flat bottom and no dividers, you can use
non-standard jars. This “basket design” easily holds 14 jelly jars, 14
half-pint, 9 pint or 7 quart jars at one time. And with the extra rings on the
bottom of the rack, small jelly jars won’t fall through! Just what you need!
Deluxe Lid Sterilizer Rack (FP0179)
– No longer will you scald your fingers while retrieving lids from the
bottom of the pan. Simply insert lids into rack and lower into boiling water.
Made of stainless steel, the rack is 9-1/2” high to keep handle out of pot for
safety and widemouth or regular lids.
5-Piece Canning Tool Set (FP0174) – Did
your Mom or Grandmother give you her water bath canner or pressure canner? You
may need some tools to go with it. This canning tool set contains tongs,
magnetic lid lifter, jar wrench, canning funnel, and jar lifter. With this set

containers. After breaking the seal on your home preserves, reseal canned items
for storage in the refrigerator with these plastic lids. Want to store dry
products in your jars - these lids are perfect and won't rust! Remember - you
can't use these for heat processing! Lids come in both regular and widemouth
size!
Canning Starter Set (FP0175) - If you
are planning to teach someone the basics of canning and want to start them out
right, the canning starter set comes with basic tools and essentials. In this
set you will find a water bath canner, canning rack, funnel, jar lifter, jar
wrench, bubble freer, tongs, lid lifter and the “Ball Blue Book.” Great as a
gift or if you are just beginning to can.
