Chops, dices and slices a variety of fruits and vegetables in one swift motion. Sturdy enough to handle potatoes and celery and sharp enough to slice mushrooms and tomatoes without mushing. Set includes reinforced plastic measuring container, pusher lid, 3 stainless steel blades for cutting, dicing, and chopping, cleaning tool, and storage box. The built-in side blade cuts long produce to fit and minimizes need for pre-cutting. Measurements are printed on the non-skid base container. Dishwasher safe.
I love everything about this dicer.
It just needs to be more durable.
We make a lot of salsa so I used mine for hot peppers, bell peppers, and onions.
I also used it for chef salads.
The box on mine broke where the top hinges on.
Also it is suppose to be dishwasher safe, and my lid sloshes now. Hmmm
Even after all of that I love the way it chops the vegetables.
I purchased this slicer/dicer and I like it very well, but you must have a lot of strength to use it on certain vegetables. The directions indicate you can dice potatoes but first have to cut it in half,. I did that, but I had to slam the lid and pound on it with my fist to get to it cut all the way through it. I had some trouble with celery too, it just smashed it instead of slicing it. The directions indicate your results will vary on the freshess of your produce, but this celery was not mushy. I will try it again when I purchase a new bunch of celery, so maybe it will work better.
