Plastic wrap and non-porous materials suffocate and stifle cheese, masking it’s true flavor and increasing spoilage. Formaticum cheese paper is similar to a cave environment where cheese is traditionally aged, allowing cheese to breathe at its optimal humidity. Wrap cheese in cheese paper and place in your refrigerator in a sealed container. Apply adhesive labels to identify your cheese and ensure a proper wrap.
