• 1-1/2 cup sugar
• 1 cup shortening
• 2 egg whites
• 1 tsp. salt
• 2 Tbsp. baking ammonia dissolved in
• 1 cup milk
• 1 tsp. Lemon oil
• 5-6 cups flour

Mix until dough can easily be handled. Roll out quite thick, then cut with desired cutters. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes. Don"t let the cookies get brown. Frost and decorate.
