• 1 cup butter
• 1 egg
• 1-1/4 cups brown sugar
• 2 cups flour
• 1/2 cup malted powder
• 1 tsp., baking soda
• 2 Tbsp. chocolate syrup
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
• 1-1/2 cups semisweet chocolate pieces
• 1 cup milk chocolate pieces

In a mixing bowl, combine the first 5 ingredients; beat for 2 minutes. Add the egg and combine the flour, baking soda and salt to the mixture, mixing well. Stir in the chocolate pieces. Shape into 2 " balls and place 3" apart on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for about 15 minutes. Let cool for 2 minutes before removing from pan. Makes about 1-1/2 dozen.
