The Ball Blue book was the first canning/freezing book I ever bought. Since then I have bought others, but I keep coming back to the Ball Blue Book. There are lots of recipes that work. Preserving food isn't as hard as you think and then you know what is going into your food. Make the choice to can/freeze.

This is the first book I bought when I started making preserves. Easy to follow instructions with good information about what fruit to use and produce to buy. A must for any new canning enthusiast.
