The casting on these pans is wonderful. I love making these bugs. When you fill the pan spread the batter from the center up to the sides of each cupcake... it makes them come out more even.

I bought this for my daughter's recent 6th birthday. I bought an assortment of tube frosting so everyone could decorate their own "bug of choice". It was a creative delight and delicious too. The cakes slipped out easily and perfectly. My only suggestion is that you fill it less than the 3/4 suggested becuase they do overgrow a little in baking (but still yummy!!) A box cake will fill this pan about twice.
